crowd cheering - Upcoming Tennis Events in 2018 and 2019

As 2018 comes to an end, so too do the exciting tennis tournaments and events. Don’t worry though, as the year reinvents itself again, more tennis events are already lined up for the tennis and sports betting enthusiasts.

Let’s check out some tennis events coming up in 2018 and 2019.

The 2018 ATP Finals

First up, we have the 2018 ATP Finals. This is actually the last major event for the year 2018. This event can be likened to the Super Bowl of tennis. It is where all the best highly ranked players come together to play in either singles or doubles. At the end, only the best will remain.

The tournament will be taking place from November 11 to 18 at the O2 Arena in London. The players who have qualified will be competing using a round robin format. The first prize winner for singles will get a whopping $1.2 million while doubles gets $200,000.

Currently, Novak Djokovic is currently ranked first on the ATP list. The number two player, Rafael Nadal, withdrew earlier this month due to an ankle injury. Roger Federer stepped up to take his number.

Other players included are Alexander Zverev, Kei Nishikori, John Isner, and Marin Cilic.

Australian Open

Next up, we have the Australia Open. This tournament is the first grand slam event to happen at the start of every year. This is set for the 14th of January up to the 27th.

Other tournaments to watch out for include the premier events in France, the United States, and England.
